Sustainability

At ARNOLD Rahmenmanufaktur, sustainability is not just a buzzword – it's a commitment to life, nature, and the environment. We place great importance on ensuring that every aspect of our work aligns with sustainable principles.

When selecting our materials, we make a conscious effort to prioritise local and Swiss suppliers whenever possible. This helps us reduce transport distances and actively support the regional economy. Our products are crafted with the utmost care, and we strive to minimise waste throughout the entire production process. Wood offcuts generated during production are collected and repurposed as firewood. Leftover cardboard is cut into usable formats and made freely available to kindergartens and schools. Even the smallest glass remnants are gathered and reused in small-format frames – nothing goes to waste. We maintain close contact with our suppliers to ensure transparency around material origins and to promote a closed-loop production system wherever possible.

Through these measures, we actively contribute to conserving resources, protecting the environment, and keeping our ecological footprint as small as possible. Sustainability is not a fixed goal, but an ongoing process – one that we pursue with dedication and a deep sense of responsibility.
