Our craft
Our picture frames combine diversity and quality: Crafted from fine woods, they impress with their exceptional workmanship. We place the highest value on every detail – from the selection of premium glazing to precisely matched mounts and mats.
The result is a range of top-quality products that present your artworks with style and elegance – all while meeting the exacting standards of museums.
Frames
Our picture frames stand out through their simplicity, elegance, and stability. The materials we use are carefully selected and impress with their high-quality craftsmanship. Always mitre-joined, finely sanded, and expertly finished, they provide strong and tasteful support for your artwork.
Large formats
We also produce large-scale frames of the highest quality. They offer perfect stability and optimal protection for your artworks, ensuring they are displayed securely and with style.
Printing and Reproduction
In collaboration with Gautschi Editions, we offer fine art prints up to 160 cm in width, produced to the highest standards. Our partnership is defined by professionalism and personalized guidance to deliver tailored solutions that meet your specific needs.
Reproduction
Using high-resolution camera technology, we faithfully reproduce original artworks in partnership with Gautschi Editions. These detailed captures are ideal for archiving, catalogues, or high-quality prints—providing artists and collectors with precise documentation of their works.
Mounting
In collaboration with our trusted partners, we offer professional mounting of artworks onto a variety of high-quality substrates, giving you a wide range of options. Among others, you can choose 1 mm aluminium for a sleek, modern look, or 2 mm Dibond, which combines stability and lightness—ideal for larger formats. We also work with other materials such as acrylic glass or wood panels, depending on the desired effect and aesthetic.
Transport and Installation
Transport
Our artwork transport service ensures safe and reliable delivery throughout Switzerland—at fair prices and without detours. Whether large or delicate, we deliver your artworks on time. Upon request, we also handle on-site installation.
Installation
Our hanging service offers expert support for the professional installation of your artworks. We guarantee maximum safety—even for large-scale pieces—and ensure your art is presented perfectly and with ease.
Artwork Check-in
We use a Fuji H2 digital camera with a 40 MP resolution. Thanks to its PixelShift technology, we can photograph all incoming artworks in ultra-high resolution and accurately document their condition. These images are securely stored and allow us to respond professionally and reliably to any condition-related or insurance matters.
Artists can also use these high-quality photographs to create a professional portfolio or dossier. Multiple works can be captured quickly and efficiently. Pricing details are available upon request.
Restoration
In collaboration with Art Services Illi, the SIK-ISEA in Zurich (for oil paintings), and Atelier Strebel (for works on paper), we offer high-quality restoration services for oil paintings, paper-based artworks, and picture frames.
Through close and regular coordination with our partners, we ensure that your artworks are restored professionally and with great care. You benefit from having a single point of contact who manages the entire process—so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

The manufactory
Across more than 180 square metres, our manufactory combines high-quality craftsmanship with a modern atmosphere. In our spacious premises at Alte Stockstrasse 7, 5022 Rombach, we have created the ideal environment for meticulous and demanding work. Designed with a contemporary aesthetic, our workshop invites you to experience the fascinating world of picture framing up close – right in the heart of production.
Our story
Our journey began in 2014, when I first stepped into the workshop of Jules Gloor & Co. in Aarau – a company with over 50 years of experience in bookbinding and picture framing. There, I met Edgar Vogel – and it was in that very moment that my passion for the art of framing was ignited.
Just a year later, in 2015, I took over the business and founded ARNOLD Rahmenmanufaktur. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself wholeheartedly to this craft – with deep appreciation for traditional workmanship and a clear vision for the future: to create high-quality, handcrafted frames that stylishly showcase both artworks and cherished memories.
